Doll Snuggie

There's nothing like waiting until the last minute to finish Christmas gifts, is there? Hot off the sewing machine is this snuggie I made for Jaiden's doll. I have one more to make for Arya's pig. I think the girls will get a kick out of their dolls having snuggies to match theirs.

If you count the 2 doll snuggies, I have made a total of 13! I think the Snuggie company is going to call me and tell me that I need to cut down production because they are losing sales. I never thought I would end up making so many! I had originally thought of making 2, one for Jaiden and one for Arya. Then word got out and several people requested that I make snuggies for their Christmas gifts.

Too cute!!!!

I know .. the projects just seem to grow don't they!!?? I have 12 of 16 snuggies finished.. the other 4 are cut out and ready to finish. The only thing I don't like is that not all fleece is created equal. I am using some of the salvage edge on one side and I have always been taught to NOT use any of the salvage edge... Also had to watch very closely the right side.. lol.... and keeping my machine from getting tooo much lint in it from all that fleece! Whew!

Merry Christmas to you and yours!!

Hugs,
Marcia

Girl I hope you took a break from sewing and got the tree up finally! LOL I am sure the girls will love the snuggies for the doll and pig. After all, what little girl doesn't like to have a "mini me"? Hope you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas together!
