I went out to the garden this morning and came back with these goodies: mixed greens, zucchini, cucumbers, and green beans.
I'm thinking fried pork chops, green beans, and sliced cucumbers for tonight.
Maybe tomorrow, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and greens.
Somewhere, I'll have to fit in some fried zucchini!
We also planted leaf lettuce and green onions; which are long gone, potatoes, tomatoes, vidila onions, sun flowers, watermelon, and beets.

Oh how lovely that you have your own vegetable garden...you have brought back memories of when we had our very own in Canada and my DH used to spend hours taking care of it...I loved to go out with my DD and bring a basketful of fresh veggies to cook!
Enjoy! Thanks for the pictures and the memories!
Food from the garden is best! Our lettuce is out of control, onions are ready, but have only harvested one cucumber so far. Still waiting on the beans, potatoes, tomatoes and squash. But they're almost ready. Enjoy your supper!
