Fallen Soldier

My cousin's, best friend's, ex-husband, Greg Missman was killed in Afghanistan last week. Greg was a computer specialist for Army and was called out on a mission that he did not return from. His convoy was attacked and Greg's body was riddled with shrapnel. His body arrived home this evening and his funeral services will be tomorrow night.

Greg left behind a four year son, Jack. His ex-wife, Brooke, has taken the news fairly hard. Please send warm thoughts and prayers to this family.

This has been the closest death from Afghanistan or Iraq for me and my cousin. They have asked for anyone that knew Greg to put a flag and yellow ribbon in their yard tomorrow.

Whether you agree or not, and this is not the place to discuss it, please remember all the families that have lost loved ones in your thoughts!

Here is the story from our local paper:
Cincinnati Enquirer

I'm so sorry to hear of this terrible loss.
My heart goes out to the family.
May he rest in peace.
