Thank God for Dirty Dishes

When going through an old cookbook tonight, I ran across the following poem:

Thank God for Dirty Dishes

Thank God for dirty dishes.
They have a tale to tell.
While others go hungry,
We're eating very well.
With home and health and happiness,
I shouldn't fuss.
For by this stack of evidence,
God's very good to us.

This is a great poem... it would make a lovely tile to hang in the kitchen. Thanks for sharing... I'm saving it.
Hugs,
Sue.

I love the poem. I think it would be nice on a recipe card or page with my recipes! Maybe even a bookmark for my cookbooks!

I grew up with this poem on a wall hanging in my mother's kitchen. Thanks for bringing the memories back.
