Fried Eggs

I am working on making some felt food for the girls to play with in their kitchen. The first food I made is fried eggs. These are so simple! I am going to play around later today and see what else I can make.

You'll need:
1 piece white felt (6 eggs)
1 piece/scrap yellow felt
yellow thread
small amount poly stuffing

1. Sketch out egg shapes on felt and cut out.

2. Cut yolk shape out of yellow felt. Stitch yolk to egg. Stop sewing when you have almost completed the yolk. Lift presser foot. Using a pencil, stuff a small amount of stuffing into yolk. Lower presser foot and complete circle.

I love your idea! So much better than the plastic fake foods I've seen. Need to see where my leftover felt is stashed. Can't wait to see more. Kay aka Luvs
